The T.I.E.S that Bind, Up/Down Tournament, is happening on Sept. 21 at Johnson Ranch in Roseville. For those of you that haven't played in this event, you've really missed a lot of fun. The format is round robin teaming 1 wheelchair player and 1 "up" player, so the name "Up/Down". The rules are basically the same, and the competition is great. ACTA has participated in this event for several years, and I'm looking forward to playing again this year. Oh, and I forgot to mention there is prize money and food and other stuff.
David Van Brunt is going to come out and visit us this weekend at Center to talk about the tournament and take sign-ups. I know he is looking for 10+ players, all levels, men and women. I hope you can join us there. You won't forget it.
